Barb and Tony

Tony & Barbara

Idaho

We have a baby girl!

Hi, we are Tony and Barbara. Our adventures together began in 1995. For the last twelve years we have been planning and preparing for our biggest adventure yet, a family. Both of us are happily employed and our home has ample room for children and a dog. Our home is near a wild life park that offers many hours of exploration to all the children in our neighborhood. We believe children should have a well rounded life experience and hope to introduce our child to sports, music, literature, science, hard work, and play. Our interests include camping, traveling, watching movies, and playing computer games we can't wait to share all of these things with a child!

Angelina & Jeff

Idaho

We have a baby boy!

Hi! We are Jeff and Angelina. We have been married for five years and we are ready to expand our family. We are not able to have children biologically, we do however have two dogs that we spoil and love very much." Adoption is important to us and we always planned to adopt. We are so excited to begin our adoption journey with you.

Jeff is adopted himself and we have a great relationship with his biological mother and adopted family. We are close with both of our families and spend time with them weekly. We are ready to share our life experiences and create new ones with a child. We believe a child should be given many different opportunities to explore as they grow.

Together we enjoy hiking, boating, ice skating, fishing, movies, bowling, golf, tennis, and much more. We enjoy watching football games and having barbecues with family and friends. We also have our individual activities we like to participate in. Jeff enjoys hunting, playing the drums, video games, and cooking. Angelina enjoys scrap booking, snow boarding, reading, and white water rafting. With us having activities in common and separate ones this would give a child much diversity. We like to try and take a vacation once a year even if it is only a few hours away from home.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about us!

Gabe & Michelle

We have a baby girl!

Idaho

Hi, we are Gabe, Michelle and Thomas. First, thank you so much for taking the time to let us tell you a little bit about our family! We are a very goofy fun loving family that loves to laugh and have a good time. We love to be outdoors in beautiful Idaho, and we also love to cook and eat! Our son, Thomas is almost two. Thomas is a total daddy's boy and wants to be just like him. We adopted him from birth and it was the happiest day of our lives! He is such a sweet heart and will be an excellent big brother. We love the Lord with all our hearts and really feel that He has given us the hearts for adoption. When we found out we would not be able to have kids on our own, there was no question in our minds that we wanted to adopt. Adoption to us is one of the most special gifts in the world. We are excited to have our family grow and feel blessed to have it grow through adoption. Our children will always know they are adopted and will always know that they are loved so much by both their birth family and adoptive family. Thank you for reading this and thank you for considering adoption for your child.

Rob and April

Rob & April

Idaho

Hello, we’re Rob, April and Abby. Thank you for taking a moment to read a little about us. We’ve been married for 7 years, and always knew we wanted a family. We found ourselves faced with infertility issues and we knew adoption was going to be how we grew our family. We were blessed by the adoption of our daughter Abby in 2008, when she was just a few hours old. She is an incredible gift and we couldn’t imagine our lives without her. She is excited to be a big sister and we know she will be a great one.

Family is important to us and we love to spend time together. We love going to the zoo, the park, and playing in our backyard. One of our favorite things to do as a family is our annual trip to Disneyland. We would go at least once a year before Abby was born and couldn’t wait to take her with us and we cannot wait to share the experience with another child. No matter what we’re doing we enjoy every moment together as we make memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to add a baby sister or brother to our family and begin making even more memories. As you look at this, please know that we are praying for you and your difficult decision. We admire your courage in considering adoption and we look forward to the journey ahead.

Justin & Kristin
We have a baby boy!

Hello, we are Kristin and Justin. We have been married for 5 years and have been trying to grow our family since day one. Emalyne is Justin’s daughter, and we want more than anything for her to have a little brother or sister to play with. All three of us are excited to grow our family through adoption! Some of our favorite things to do as a family are bowling, fishing, going to the zoo, walking the dogs, flying kites, and playing board games. We also love our yearly summer vacations! Family is very important to us, and we make sure to spend as much time with our parents as possible.

We feel that adoption is the biggest sacrifice any parent could make for their child and want to make sure that our child knows that you love them very much. We are hoping for an open adoption with you so we can share our child’s adoption story together. We are praying for you as you make this difficult decision.

Thank you so much for taking time to read a little bit about us. We hope to get to meet you soon.

Tiffany &Tyler

Utah

Hi! We are Tyler, Tiffany, Bryson and Madilyn. We are excited for you to get to know us and we hope to get to know you better as well. We have been married for over 10 years and love to spend lots of time together. Bryson and Maddie are both adopted and we enjoy an open relationship with both of our birth families. As we have shared time through BBQ's, emails, phone calls, and visits in our home, they are now dear friends and family and we hope that this can continue with you. Please know that we are thinking about you and we are so very excited to add to our little family!

Tiffany was a teacher before we adopted our children and is now a stay at home Mom and LOVES it! Tyler is happily employed as an accountant which gives him time in the summer to play lots of golf. We both graduated from college in Utah and have decided to make our home here. We love to go to all of our college basketball games and our kids know the fight song complete with all the actions! In the summer we're outside riding bikes, playing in the sandbox, gardening or shooting some hoops in the front yard. In the winter we build forts in the basement and snuggle together with some popcorn and a good Disney movie. Tif tries out lots of new recipes in the kitchen but desserts are her weakness and chocolate chip cookies are a staple in our home.

Adoption has blessed our lives and given us more happiness than we could have ever hoped for. We are excited for more diapers, more snuggles and lots more love in our home!

Andy & Nicole

We’re Andy & Nicole and here’s a little bit about us…

We have been married almost six years and love living in the Northwest. We have tons of fun together hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and most of all - fishing! But, since none of those activities are of the paying variety we also both have day jobs J. Andy works as a Pilot for a private charter company and I work for a statewide newspaper as the subscription manager. Once the baby arrives though, I will be a full-time stay at home mom.

We have not been able to have biological children, so after much prayer and consideration we are on the path to adoption. We are both very big on family and are hopeful for openness in our adoption, as we would value you having an ongoing place in our family as well. We can send you pictures and letters and even have an informal get together on occasion - if you’re comfortable with that.

We know that you have a difficult decision ahead of you, as there is not a more important decision than choosing the right couple to parent your child. We hope this info can help you in making your decision - giving you peace and comfort in the years ahead. We know that few and far between is someone like you who will give so selflessly of themselves so that our dream of being parents might come true. You are truly a rare gem and someone we hope to soon call “friend”.

Matt & Julia

We have a baby girl!

Hello! We are Matt and Julia. Thank you for taking a moment to let us briefly introduce ourselves. We know that you have a difficult decision. We admire your courage, selflessness and loving heart as you consider adoption for your child. Adoption is a special gift and we believe that it is important for a child to know their adoption story.

We are best friends who have been married for 16 years. Our close-knit families are filled with fun characters. Julia’s side of the family has been blessed by adoption for three generations. This heritage of adoption is one of many reasons why our family understands and embraces adoption. It is also one reason why we feel a calling to be a forever family and provide a safe and loving home for a special little person.

We both have professional careers. Julia works from our home office, so Mom stuff will take first priority. Our “fuzzy sons” include a dog and cat who were adopted from animal shelters. Tigger and Brinkley will tell you that we are parents for love and fun, with a caring touch when needed. We are blessed with wonderful friends with children of all ages (many adopted!). We are active and sporty, so you’ll probably find us cycling or working in our garden. We love to cook and travel, too. We value education, and we look forward to helping a child discover and develop their natural talents and interests.

Our child will know that they are loved so much by their birth family and adoptive family. We look forward to getting to know you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tracy & Corey

We have a baby boy!

Hello! We are Tracy, Corey & Alice. We have been married for 6 years and Alice became a part of our family in May 2009 through adoption. We are unable to have biological children but were very fortunate to bring Alice into our family when she was 10 months old. She has brought so much joy to our lives and we’d love nothing more than to adopt another child to complete our family.

Alice is 3 years old and much of our time centers around her. We live near the foothills and we enjoy taking our three dogs hiking and swimming in nearby ponds around the neighborhood. Alice seems to love being outdoors and exploring nature. We also like to hook up the baby carriage and go on bike rides as well as spending quite a bit of time at home. We have a very large backyard and plenty of room to play.

Alice has the best grandparents one can imagine. She has one set of grandparents a couple of miles away who she spends two days per week with while we are working. She refers to grandpa Jerry as her best friend! She has another set of grandparents out of state and 2 great-grandmothers and 1 great-grandfather.

We know this is a difficult decision to consider adoption but we can only tell you that we will love your child completely and give him or her a full and happy life. We look forward to getting to know you as well and wish you the best now and in the future. Thank you for looking at our profile!

Chris & Andrea

Hi, we are Chris and Andrea. We have been married for almost 12 years and have a 5 year-old son, Nathan. We always hoped for a large family (well, 3-4 kids seems large to us!) but could only have Nathan biologically. Early on, even before we got pregnant with Nathan, we realized that we might not be able to successfully conceive a child so we started discussing adoption. We love the idea of growing our family through adoption and are very excited to have our family blessed with another baby. Our love for Nathan has been a powerful example for us on how love grows and expands within a family. We know, without a doubt, that we would love another child unconditionally –no matter how that child comes into our family. We look forward to meeting you and beginning our relationship, however open it may be.

We moved to Boise about 2 years ago and love living in Idaho. We can’t imagine living anywhere but Boise. Andrea grew up in California and her family (parents and sister and her family) are still there. Chris grew up in Oregon and his parents and one brother (and his family) still lives in Oregon, another brother is in Virginia and his sister (and her family) lives in California. We visit our extended families as often as we can and see each of our folks at least twice a year.

We love to travel, ski, mountain bike (well, Chris does), bike on the Boise Greenbelt, scuba dive, golf, hike, camp – lots of outdoor stuff. But we also like to hang out together as a family and play games, relax, read books, and just have fun. We are active in our Catholic Church community and greatly enjoy our friends and family both far and near.

We live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of young kids and families. Also, our house is within walking distance of the Boise River and we love to take walks along the river and throughout the neighborhood. Andrea is a stay-at-home mom and is excited to have another child in the home. Andrea is a thoughtful, loving wife and mother. She never misses an important event or date, loves to plan adventures and fun, and always keeps the family organized. Nathan just started Kindergarten and is enjoying all that school has to offer. Nathan is sweet, fun loving, adventurous, and ready to be a big brother! Chris is funny, conscientious and loving towards his family and friends. Chris also enjoys the flexibility of being able to work from home so he can spend more time with his family.

Marcie & Curt

Idaho

Hi, we are Curt and Marcie (and that’s our 6-year old “puppy,” Jesse!) and we thank you for considering adoption and for taking the time to get to know a little bit about our family…

The most important thing we want you to know about us is that we have a very solid marriage; based on friendship and love, filled with laughter and sustained by a mutual respect for one another. We've been married since 2000 and feel truly blessed to be where we are at emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually. We're thankful for the time we've had to establish our careers, feed our relationship and develop our individual talents. We’re big fans of BSU football (we both graduated from Boise State). We also enjoy being active in sports, exploring the outdoors, watching movies, the arts, vacationing at our family beach house on the Oregon Coast and spending quality time with our family and friends. We are honored to be considered as an adoptive family and we are truly ready and excited to be parents.

We recognize the value in an open adoption, please know that we're very open-minded and we’ll be supportive of your needs now and throughout the years. Above all, please know we will always respect and honor you.

Justin & Lara

Idaho

We’re a family of three hoping to become a family of four! We are Justin and Lara. We have a 2 ½ year old daughter, Jocelyn. She was adopted at birth and we have a very special, open relationship with her birth parents. Three important things for you to know about us:

1. Family comes first.
2. We are happy people. We have a lot of love in our home, we have meaningful careers, we make time for our passions, and we find joy in the small things.
3. We’re big supporters of open adoption.

Justin is a mental health and drug abuse counselor; Lara is a professional writer. We love movies, music, reading, animals, games, and adventure (we’ve been to 15 countries and 3 different continents!).

Our love story began eleven years ago. We fell in love at first sight. Justin proposed after TEN days and we were married nine months later. Strangers still ask if we are newlyweds. We live in a quiet farming town just south of Idaho Falls. Our neighborhood is full of little kids who play outside all summer long.

We aren’t perfect, but we’re pretty good at loving and laughing. Family is the most important thing in the world to us. We are close to both our families so plenty of cousins, aunts, uncles, and two sets of anxious grandparents join in our excitement to welcome a new baby to the family.

We recognize the divine design of adoption and have the utmost love and respect for birth parents.

You can learn more about us at our blog. Thank you!

Josh & Crystal

Idaho

Hello, we are Josh and Crystal.

We have been married for seven great years and we are excited to start a family. It was a bit of a shock to learn that we could not have a biological child, but we had always talked of someday adopting and now we simply get to start that journey sooner than expected!

Josh is 31 years old and works as a project engineer for a renewable energy development company - he also teaches part-time at the university. Josh grew up in Washington and moved to Idaho when he enlisted in the Air Force. He spent four years in the Air Force and another six in the Air National Guard. Josh likes making people laugh, solving problems, watching football, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Crystal is 30 years old and teaches at a nearby high school. She grew up in a small town in southern Idaho and relishes her memories of Sunday dinners and week-night games with her family. She enjoys crafts and cooking and is definitely looking forward to being a stay-at-home Mom. Crystal has a great deal of experience working with teens, both at church and through the summer camp that she started almost thirteen years ago. She remains the summer camp director and throughout the year she mentors young ladies in our church and helps teach other women to do the same.

We are active in our church community and enjoy regularly getting together with our friends for food and games. We believe in being generous with the things we are blessed with and regularly give to our church and to various aid organizations. We hope to pass these priorities to our children. We attend a non-denominational Christian church and will teach our children about our beliefs in a way that invites them to make age-appropriate decisions about their own faith as they mature.

A few years ago we didn’t expect to be waiting to adopt a child and you probably didn’t expect to be reviewing biographies of adoptive parents. And yet, here we are! We just want you to know that we appreciate that adoption presents its own special challenges and rewards to everyone involved. In particular, we are grateful for any parent who makes the difficult decision to seek out a family to adopt their child.

-Josh and Crystal
